Fourth of July

Fourth of July weekend we went camping at St Croix Hinckley. We love this campground. They have cal-de-sacs to camp in. So we reserve a whole cal-de-sac and the whole family goes.
It was me, Aaron, Trevor and Ali. Papa Troy and Gramma Kim. Uncle Steve and Auntie Kelly. Auntie Nicole, Brian and Elizabeth. Jill and Chris. Auntie Lisa, Uncle Steve, Kaela and Kiele.
We went up on Wed night. We didn't get up there until 9pm. So, we put the kids to bed and Aaron and I enjoyed a nice QUIET night.
Thursday, Mom and Troy and Lisa and the girls came up. We enjoyed the heat! Later that night Nicole and Brian came up.
Friday we got up and decided to go tubing down the St Croix River. We decided to bring Trevor. Yeah, he didn't like it very much. He ended up sitting in my lap the whole way down. But it was still fun. Everyone else came up later on Friday.
Sat we went tubing again, this time Trevor stayed back with Papa and Gramma. We had so much fun going down the river. It was so relaxing for Aaron and I. Nani and Papa came up that day as well. It was nice to see them, even though it was hot, we all enjoyed their company. Good thing for campers! Saturday afternoon the campground had a parade for the kids to participate in. We decorated Trevors tractor and the girls bikes. Elizabeth rode in the trailer of Trevors Tractor for almost the whole ride. They were so cute and had so much fun. Later that night the campground had karaoke and a DJ. We all went up and enjoyed the dancing, until the mosquitoes started eating us for dinner.
Sunday we got up and enjoyed the day playing bean bags and relaxing. That night we drove to Siren, WI for fireworks. I was so excited to see Trevor with fireworks, it was the first 4th of July that we watched fireworks with him where he would enjoy them. Well, he coudn't have cared less. He was more interested in entertaining everyone. He was pretty cute. We headed back after fireworks and sat next to the fire and played cards.
Waking up the morning that we are leaving is always the hardest. I hate packing up!
It was a great weekend and I can't wait to go back there again!

Trevors 3rd Birthday

My baby boy turned 3 on June 23rd. I cannot believe how big and smart he is getting. I just can't believe how fast time goes. We wish for them to grow up and then it's here in a matter of no time.
Tuesday night we had dinner at Kelly and Steves. Danielle and Jason gave Trevor his birthday present there. After dinner we enjoyed some time at the pool.
Wed. the 23rd we had cake and ice cream. Papa Troy and Gramma Kim stopped by to give Trevor his birthday present. They got him a John Deere Tractor. He absolutley LOVES it. Then Auntie Colie and Brian stopped by to sing happy birthday and eat some cake.
Trevor also got a package in the mail from Gramma Barb. ALL Toy Story stuff.
That Friday we had his 3 yr doctor appt. Trevor is 38 in and 36 lbs. Such a big boy!!
That night we had his big birthday party. We had it all planned out and then the severe weather decided to move on in. We made the best of it and it turned out great. It was so hot and humid. But, we had a great time.
Here are some pics of the night.

Happy Fathers Day

Fathers Day weekend we enjoyed a nice weekend camping. We only went to Eagan at Lebanon Hills. We love that place and even though its in the middle of the city, you would never know it when you are there.
We had so much fun, like always. We woke up Sunday morning and Trevor gave daddy and papa Troy their fathers day cards. We then headed home and got laundry started and dropped the camper off and then headed to Orchard Lake Park in Lakeville. We met my dad & Roby, Kelly & Steve, Nicole & Brian out there. We grilled and fished. Played at the park and played some baseball with Trevor. It's pretty cute, Trevor is definetly the boy that my dad never had! He had so much fun with Papa Jerry.

MN zoo

Wednesday last week we had a great weather day. We met up with Jen, Logan and Bennet and headed to the Zoo. It was so much fun watching Trevor and Logan together, as always. They are so much fun and so cute together. They have become BEST FRIENDS.
We headed to the farm first so that the boys could feed the goats. Jen got a couple hands full of food and they headed into the goat pen. HAHA.... the goats were all over her. One was even jumping up on her trying to get the food. She was a good sport. I sat outside and watched Bennet and Ali.
It was funny watching both boys. When we got there Logan kept running ahead and Trevor kept telling Logan that he had to wait up. By the end of the day Trevor was the one that was running ahead and Logan was telling him to wait up. It was pretty cute.
We took the boys to the little water park that they have there. Logan jumped right in, but Trevor surprisingly took a little longer to get in the water. But, of course when we said it was time to go, he wanted to get in.
After a long 3 1/2 hrs and a VERY tired little boy we decided it was time to go.
I think we are going to get together this week and go to the park and walk around the lake. Should be alot of fun.

Here are some cute pics from the zoo.

Michigan

The first weekend in June we headed to Michigan. Aarons dads side of the family was having "christmas in June". It was so nice to see everyone.
Aarons mom had the family over as well to "meet the babies". Aaeons sister had a little girl Sophie 4 weeks before Ali was born and Aarons cousin had a little boy Elijah aboout 3 weeks before Ali. We had a chance to see everyone and to see the babies. It was so nice.
Of course when we are in Michigan it's never a relaxing vacation. It would be nice to go there one time and not have to run all over the place and just relax. But, we still have a great time and enjoy seeing everyone.
This time going over there we decided to take the Ferry over Lake Michigan. It doesnt cut out any time, but it cuts out driving time. We thought it would be fun for Trevor and give him and Ali time to be out of the carseats. Trevor LOVED it. Aarons would take him to the top of the boat to look out at the water. It was awesome. I think we would take the Ferry anytime that we go out there.
I am really bummed, but we didn't get any pictures of Aarons moms side of the family. :-(

Our new house

We finally are moving out of our town home. We found a builder that would buy our house if we built with them. After going back and forth with the real estate company, we made a deal. We have signed purchase agreements. We have to stay in our town home for 90 days after it's listed and then we are done. We are so excited.
Its a split level (we are actually calling it a modified two story). The foyer is HUGE. It's 2800 sq ft. We have 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. It's on .4 acres. So not to bad of a yard. The pictures below are obviously showing some things that need to still be done. Since we have taken these, the carpet is in and the appliances are in in the kitchen. All the doors and the cabinets are in now also. We can't wait to see it with grass and some landscaping. Hopefully in the next couple weeks!

Reading books with Papa John

Grandpa John and Nani came over to visit and Trevor pulled Papa John upstairs to read books and show him his toys. Nani visited with me.
Also, Papa Troy went to Keifers graduation down in NC the weekend after Ali was born. They got Trevor this outfit and Trevor loved it. He didn't want to take it off.
These were some cute pics.

Alivia Ann Cavanaugh

Our baby girl was born on Mothers Day. We woke up Mothers day morning and I was having really bad cramps. I let it go for about an hr and then decided to get up and take a shower and shave my legs. LOL..... After the shower I woke Aaron up and told him that I think I was having contractions. So we pulled the stop watch out and timed them. Sure enough, they were 2-3 min apart. Luckily, Grandma Barb was here so she stayed with Trevor while mommy and daddy drove to the hospital.
Alivia was not going to come on her scheduled day. She wanted to make her own appearance. She was born @ 9:31am on Sunday May 9th. She was 8'9" and 21 in. Perfect in my book.
While in the hospital they offered to give me pain killers. First of all, I hate pain killers, but I took them anyways. About an hr after taking them I started to have problems with my chest. I couldn't breathe in deep. I told them about it and lets just say, they don't take chest pains very lightly. I had every test possible done to me.
Well, they ended up waking me up at 3am to take me down for a VQ scan. or something like that. Well, on my way down to get this test done they told me that I would have to pump and dump for 24 hrs. I cried, because Ali was doing so good with the breast feeding and I would have to feed her formula. After the test, they told me to drink lots of fluid. Well, a couple hrs after that test they came in and told me that they wanted to do a gall bladder ultrasound. But, in order to do that I needed to fast for 6 hrs. Aaron told them absolutely NOT. How do they expect me to get this dye out of my system if I have to fast? UGH...... well, the pain in the chest went away after about 3 days. Thank goodness.
We got to go home on Thursday. Grandma Barb was here for the whole week and helped out so much with Trevor.

Trevor absolutely LOVES his little sister. He cannot stop touching her and kissing her and he loves showing her off!!

Here are some pics from Alivias birth.

Happy Birthday Logan and Papa Floyd!

Saturday we had a busy birthday day.

We headed to Uncle Jims and Auntie Quannah first. My Grandpa Floyds birthday was on Friday. We all headed over there to enjoy a nice BBQ and each others company. We had a great time with everyone. We missed a few people, but we will see them all soon.

Here are some pics from that birthday party!

After Grandpa Floyds birthday we went to celebrate Logans 3rd birthday. We had a great time. Good food, good company. The boys wore themselves out!

Here are a few pics from Logans party

Nice Sunday

I know I haven't been very good lately at updating my Blog. I promise, that I am going to start doing it more frequently, especially sinced Alivias arrival is right around the corner.

Today we enjoyed some time with Auntie Kelly and Uncle Steve. We walked around the MOA and took Trevor on some rides. He was so tired, so we left and shopped while he slept in the stroller.

We had a doctor appt on Friday. I am dialated to a 1. Which the doctor said is normal for women who have already had one baby. We are patiently waiting for Alis arrival. It just cannot come soon enough. We are so excited. We have been given strict rules from a few different people. My grandma and Grandpa don't get back from Floriday until May 3rd. So we have to wait until then for Alivia to arrive. Kelly and Steve are leaving for Jamaica in the morning, they are gone until Sat. So we can't have her before then. Danielle and Jason are leaving next Wed for Florida, which means we can't have her before they get back, which is Sunday the 9th. Grandma Barb is coming the 8th to stay with us and help with Trevor while we are in the hospital. So, we really don't want her to come early..... Well, we do, but it would be nice to have the extra help! Well, that brings us to the due date! LOL..... if we want to have her early, she would have to come between May 3rd and the 5th! haha.....

Here are a few pics from rides today

Playdate, Dinner and beautiful weather

Saturday we had a playdate at our house. There were 6 girls and 8 BOYS. We had Danielle and Brandon (2 months), Kristin, Sam (almost 3) & Charlie (2 months), Steph and Carter (6 months), Jen, Logan (almost 3) & Bennet (6 months), Angie & Eddie ( almost 3), Me and Trevor (almost 3). The boys had fun playing. We had few tiny fights break out, but it will not be the last time it happens!

Monday night we had the Sandmeiers and the Gischs over to our house for dinner. We had such a great night with everyone. The weather has been so perfect outside. Trevor had a great time playing baseball with Uncle Steve and Jason. He was doing so good hitting the ball. He actually had a few line drives back at us. We had chicken drummies and Baked Bean. It was so nice. Trevor and I have also been going for walks every night and we stopped and picked up Pine Cones and made homemade bird feeders. Below are a couple pics of our bird feeders.

Tonight Kelly and Steve came over so Kelly and Aaron could go running. We made pork chops and Pasta Roni. We had a nice night.
